Town of Antrim–Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
November 14, 2016
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Selectman John Robertson in the Little Town Hall.
Members Present: John Robertson, Michael Genest, Robert Edwards
Staff Present: Donna Hanson, Jim Plourde
Agenda Items:
- Mr. Peter Holden from Holden Engineering reviewed the bidding process for the Highland Avenue/Pleasant Street project. The specs and bid book are in the final phase of review with Rural Development’s engineer, Mr. Jonathon Harries. The town is hoping to start the bidding process by the end of November.
- Mr. Ben Pratt informed the BOS that after having a diver look at the slide gate at Gregg Lake Dam, it was confirmed that it seems to be in good condition. Plans to construct a new gate house will proceed.
Other Business:
- A resident of Elm Avenue expressed his support of funding for additional police staff. He spoke about the perceived drug problem in his neighborhood and other areas of town. The Board of Selectmen thanked him for his thoughts on the subject.
After no further business Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Edwards. Passed 2/0
